The Best Everyday Uses for Noni Powder

Noni Powder has been steadily gaining attention from celebrities and health gurus alike, and for good reason! This amazing superfood is derived from the Morinda cirtifolia, or noni, tree originating in Polynesia, in particular Islands of Tahiti and Hawaii. The noni tree bears flowers and extremely pungent seed-bearing fruits, which we have to thank for the antioxidant-rich Noni Powder!

Noni Powder has often been referred to as the “queen of health plants,” which is appropriate when we consider all of the powerful benefits, which have been utilized by traditional Polynesian healers for more than 2000 years! While, like most superfoods, noni is jam-packed with vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants, some of its most amazing compounds are its polysaccharides. First, the noni--polysaccharide noni-ppt has been found to support healthy tissue growth. Plus, the polysaccharide 6-D-glucopyranose pentaacetate enhances the “destroying power” of white blood cells and makes them more effective in fighting bacteria and disease. Due to the presence of these polysaccharides, noni has become a popular cancer-fighting agent.

In addition to supporting the body’s fight against cancer, noni is an all-around top-notch immune supporter. While its 6-D-glucopyranose pentaacetate does its job enhancing the body’s white blood cells, noni’s limonene and anthraquinones act as an antiseptic to boost compromised immune systems. In addition, this fruit is jam-packed with anti-inflammatory and detoxifying properties, which is why many beauty experts also swear by it for keeping their skin healthy and glowing!
