Many superfood fans are familiar with goji berries, but what some people may not realize is that goji berries come in more than one form! While goji berries in their original form are super delicious, the versatility of this superfood is one of its most exciting benefits, and one of our favorite ways to get our fix of goji berries is with goji berry powder.
Goji berry powder offers all the health benefits of goji berries, just in a different form! Goji berries have the power to build bone, support good liver function, maintain cardiovascular health, strengthen muscles, improve fertility, aid in weight loss, stabilize blood sugar, reduce sugar cravings, slow signs of aging, assist in immune system function, and increase the secretion of human growth hormones - and goji berry powder is no different! Plus, goji berry powder contains beta-carotene, vitamins C and B, minerals including zinc and calcium, as well as phytonutrients that promote normal cell communication. Not a bad deal!
But why goji berry powder?
While we’re not sure we could ever get sick of the taste or health benefits of goji berries, sometimes we like to switch up the textures of the foods we eat, and goji berry powder is a great way to do just that. One of the most exciting ways to use goji berry powder is to make your own goji berry juice! This delicious drink is made by simply adding 1 tablespoon of goji powder to 8 ounces of water, and stirring until dissolved. Additionally, goji berry powder can be blended into your favorite smoothies, juices, and teas, and it also tastes great in yogurt, oatmeal, and chia seed pudding.
